Guard Your Thoughts

It is so hard to keep positive thoughts. You would be waking up in the morning with positive affirmations and ready to tackle the day.

Just one bad word from someone can mess it all up.

You start feeling that you aren't good enough.

You are constantly assessing yourself. Seeking validation from others.

Some people will break you and carry on as normal.

You will often hear them say you must hold the knife by its edge. You're cut and start bleeding. Holding longer will result in a scar. A permanent remembrance.

It is like that with your thoughts. If you keep negative thoughts you end up becoming them. A permanent remembrance for the person in the mirror.

I always asked myself why you do the things which you might regret later on.

It took me long enough to find out why.

It is that you as a person are always mean good. You want to feel good about yourself. You will think about something and judge it the way you see it.

Someone comes along with their opinion and you discard your thought.

You don't believe in it.

When it does not work out, you feel disappointed.

Or,

It works out. You will always rely upon that person to think for you. Their idea always works out, isn't it?

You aren't a guardian of your thoughts anymore.

It is up to you to protect your thoughts. Whether you have a good or bad day.

Always reinforce positive thoughts. Train your mind day by day to focus on that that is joyful, pleasing, and perfect.

You will trip sometimes. Feeling that this is a waste of time. Thoughts are just thoughts. Who cares anyway?

This shouldn't discourage you. Always remember that you are human. You are perfect in your imperfections. Don't be too hard on yourself.😉
